Hello Everyone!

My name is Paul George Tima, and below you will find my concepts and ideas on to help turn our country and economy around in a positive direction overnight, while we "2012 Return to FREEDOM".

Please take the time to read it and join with me to make it happen for our children, grandchildren and our extended families and friends. If you have a comment or positive suggestion on how you feel that we could make this better for all citizens send me a draft written in an email. (NO Attachments Please) I will do my best to incorporate it into OUR ideas.

PROPOSED 28th AMENDMENT

If you desire to help turn our country and our economy around in a positive direction overnight, then we should enact a 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

“The United States Congress will not pass or even propose any law that applies to the citizens of the United States of America, that does not apply equally to all the members of the United States Congress; and, the United States Congress will not pass or even propose any law that applies to the United States Congress, that does not apply equally to all citizens of the United States of America.”

Why should we try to pass a 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution? Do you really believe that our forefathers really designed our U.S. Constitution & Declaration of Independence to be written for "We the People" not "We the Governing People"? I always believed that if you were going to go into public service (especially a politician) that you were doing it because you truly desired to help the citizens of the country you live and work in and NOT to just serve Yourself!

By passing this proposed 28th Amendment it make congress legally balanced and fair. I.e. if congress decided to pass Obama-Care, then they to should have to adhere to it. If we have to have Social Security, then congress should have to live on Social Security. Just because you are an elected official, Does NOT give you the legal right to be above ALL the citizens of the United States.

NOTE: If you want to discuss real service, look at our Coast Guard, Military and National Guard and the "Pittance" they receive for putting their life on the line daily in active duty. If you want true freedom, then pass the Proposed 28th Amendment & Return to FREEDOM.

PROPOSED 2012 CONGRESSIONAL REFORM ACT

If you desire our country to be balanced and fair, and have true equality, freedom, justice and liberty for all in our democratic laws, elections and governing process for the citizens of the United States, then we should enact a 2012 Congressional Reform Act - Return to FREEDOM.

Proposed 2012 Congressional Reform Act - Return to FREEDOM:

“ALL branches of The United States government, whether it be the Executive branch, Judicial branch or Legislative branch will have to agree to a legal binding contract to the following conditions and terms in order to hold any office and serve the citizens (first and foremost) while defending and upholding the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.”

  It should be mandatory that all branches of the United States Government adhere to the current options and standards of healthcare that is available to the American people. Like all Americans, if they want to purchase separately a better healthcare plan, they should be able to have the right to do so.
• ALL Branches - One Bill One Vote: Please click here to read more (Coming Soon)
  It should be mandatory that there is only one bill allowed per one vote, and not cramming 10, 20 ,30, 40, or more bills into one bill at the end of the year because congress did not want to work on it earlier in the year.

  It should be mandatory that all branches of government will no longer be able to vote themselves a pay raise. All yearly pay raises will be tied to the fall or rise of CPI with a cap of 5% which ever is the lower. NO Tenure, unless you make government your career and the American people elect you in office and you have served at least 20-years.

  It should be mandatory that all branches of government participate in Social Security just like the American people have to. All retirement funds in any branch of government, must automatically move into the Social Security system now. Like all Americans, if any person in any branch desires to participate, purchase or set-up separately their own pension plan (401-K), they should have the right to do that.

  It should be mandatory that anyone involved in introducing, voting or writing any part of any bill will have to read the bill, sign off on it, and understand what it is they are working on. This will help dramatically in efforts to reduce time wasted.

  12-Years only for all elected officials of all branches of the United States government, whether it be the Executive branch, Judicial branch, or Legislative branch. If you want to make it a career, you still should be able to do that, but it should be an honor first to serve. If an elected official after serving his/her term in office would like to run for another office they should be able to do that.

NOTE: "We the People", does not mean that congress should be legally able to pass any laws (Proposed 28th Amendment) that does not apply to all of the citizens of the United States of America equally. "We the Governing Body, By the Governing Body, For the Governing Body" does not apply to all of the citizens of the United States of America. If you want freedom, congress needs to serve & work for "We the People". Proposed 2012 Congressional Reform Act - Return to FREEDOM.

In Summary:

Again, I believe in the U.S. Constitution & Declaration of Independence was suppose to be written for "We the People" not "We the Government". I believe that our U.S. Constitution was written to preserve and protect our God given rights and to limit both the Federal Governments & States intrusion into our daily lives. I believe God gives us the freedom of choice and the right to bear arms to defend ones family, property, and themselves and that we possess an intrinsic right to freedom of religion and speech. I believe that our States should have democratic laws, they should be Republic & Sovereign, and that the limited roll of our Federal Government should be to assist us in the defense of our U.S. Constitution and defending the citizens of the U.S. against all enemies domestic and foreign.
