EQUAL FAIR & FREE TRADE
Hello Everyone!
My name is Paul George Tima, and over the years I’ve watched this country and its economy slowly go down in a tailspin due to the lack of entrepreneurs, sound leadership and visionaries with enough capital and resources to put their concepts and ideas into reality and allow them to create new industries and millions of new jobs. Below you will find my (3-Step) approach starting off with my Equal Fair & Free Trade program that I have written on how to lead our country and our economy forward in a positive way. #1 Equal Fair & Free Trade:
The First Program - is so simple that it amazes me why it has never been adopted legally with ALL major trading partners and made into a Federally Mandated Law. The main theme being through the ideals of capitalism and our democratic process that you may expand the world economy at a very manageable pace while protecting the companies, the jobs and the rights of all workers both inside and outside of the United States. Overnight this would put our manufacturing, small businesses, technology companies and unions back to work. This is not protectionism...it is Equal Fair & Free Trade!
1) ALL Countries - that would like to purchase or trade products and services with the United States and likewise for the United States to do the following. Any country that exports said goods, products or services to another country in any 3-month period, must import the same wholesale dollar amount of any type of goods, products or services from that country in the same 3-month period. This would ensure equal, fair and free trade for all trading countries to have a totally "Zero Trading Deficit".
a). Overnight this act would not only put our manufacturing base, small businesses, technology companies and unions back to work, it would help to start raising the over-all standard of living throughout the world. It works like this, ABC Country exports 42 Billion dollars worth of said foods, goods, products or services in the first quarter of 2012 to the United States. Then, allowing for accounting in the same first quarter of 2012 (90 days) the United States would export 42 Billion dollars worth of said foods, goods, products or services to ABC Country. This way each countries trading partner ends up having a totally "Zero Trading Deficit".
b). By putting all of these industries back to work, it would immediately put discretionary income back into our economy and into the hands of people to have a decent life and still believe in having the (American Dream)!
c). It would immediately bring down our national deficits and give hope back to our children and grand-children that they too could have that (American Dream)!!
2) ALL Countries - that export said foods, goods, products or services etc., to another country cannot price their said foods, goods, products or services etc. less than 5% of the importing countries national retail/wholesale average of said foods, goods, products or services etc. Whereas this would assure each of the major trading countries and there partners of an "Equal Fair & FREE Trade".
a). NO Illegal Dumping – this would help to alleviate two very important issues. It works like this, let’s say hypothetically that ABC Country can produce an automobile tire for $5.00, and in the United States due to our cost of living, health-care, pensions, retirements, taxes, etc. it would cost $20.00. No country (ABC in this example) could export thier automobile tires into the United States for less then <5%> or $19.00.
b). It tells the U.S. manufacturer’s to rein in its costs because people will still purchase the cheaper cost product and not just buy their product(s) because it says Made in U.S.A.
c). More importantly, it says to all of the developing nations workers from I.e. (Africa, Brazil, China, India, etc.) to come up and join with us at our standards of living. Just like our great-grandparents, grandparents and parents had to use the democratic process to demand thier rights for bonuses, cost of living allowances, health-care, pensions, and retirement packages, so should they? They should start demanding thier rights for their children and grand-children for better education, health, nutrition, etc. By doing this is would start to eliminate the practice of using child labor, no health-care, and low wages by so many exporting countries companies. Which in turn would start providing a healthy lifestyle and raising thier Standards of Living.
3) ALL Countries - that import foods, goods; products or services from another country cannot import their own foods, goods, products or services from their own multi-national subsidiary in that country to offset their exports to that country. Thus truly protecting the jobs and rights of the workers in the main country of which they are exporting and importing from.
a). NO Illegal Reverse Dumping – ABC Country owns a multi-national subsidiary to produce products at a very cheap cost. It cannot then export those products to its main subsidiary just to lower the costs of its products that they export. Thus eliminating the old practice of “Dumping”.

In Summary:
By utilizing my Equal Fair & Free Trade, N.A.P. North American Projects & National Retail Sales Tax, inconjunction with Capital Gains & Corporate Tax = (0%), we'll dramatically help to turn our countries deficits, economies, jobs and unemployment, and our standards of living in a positive direction.
It works like this: When you have the ability to have equal fair and free trade, you keep you're manufacturing and technology bases working thus producing wealth and tax revenue. When you have innovation to build N.A.P. - North American Projects, you create industries and manufacturing, which in turn creates new jobs, which in turn creates wealth and more tax revenue. When you have equality, fairness & justice for all, a National Retail Sales Tax program off true consumption, "We the Peolple" will give to (Our Children & Grand-Children the American Dream).
